Useful sites for Epic Armageddon information.

NetEA Website Home of the latest rules and army lists for epic Armageddon.

Tactical Command Best site for all the latest Epic development (armylists, new miniatures etc)

Online Army builder We will be using the NetEA lists in our campaigns and tournaments.

Games Workshop's Epic miniatures

ForgeWorld's Epic miniatures

Dark Realm Miniatures Great proxies for Imperial Guard, Tau, Tyranids etc

Exodus Wars Great proxies for Necrons, Imperial Guard, Squats etc

Onslaught Miniatures Great prxies for Nids and Tau (with others on the way)

Epic on Ebay

7-11-2011* Update.
With the new EpicUK Tyranid list getting some local use, I'll add some more specific details to help build a Nid army.
If Nids are your preferred army, there is good and bad news...

The bad news is that the GW Epic Tyranids are loooong out of production :(
They are still available on Ebay but some of the prices can get a bit silly (especially for the smaller plastic infantry bugs).

The good news is that there are some others that have stepped up to make Tyranid like armies available!
Onslaught Miniatures have made some excellent proxies for the smaller bugs!
The cheapest and easiest solution is to use Dark Realm Miniatures Skyth as proxies for the Nids (ask Olly for a review as he has some for his Nid army). They have enough variants to cover all the smaller bugs and several of the medium sized beasties (Carnifexes etc).
The larger Bio-titans are actually quite easy to make using GW 40K miniatures (Termgants as Heirodules, Tyranid Warriors as Hydraphant/Dominatrix, plastic Tyranid Gargoyle as a Harridan etc). A lot of the plastic Tyranid bits are available on Ebay from bits sellers like Hoard o Bits, Blackdagger Games and Player's Cove.
This gives you some lee way to get creative if you like.

Epic scale Raveners are easily made using 40K Tyranid Rippers.

40K Spore Mines which make perfect proxies for Epic scale Spore Mines.

I had my bases custom made by Litko. This a quite a slow process but it's cheap and you can get the shape you want (a nice touch to customise your army). I attach my plastic miniatures to the acrylic bases using Tamiya Putty (from Stanbridges or Perth Hobby Center) or superglue.

Terrain suppliers:
Gateshead Gaming
Gamecraft Miniatures

That should do for now. I'll link up new useful information as I find it. Anyone else is welcome to post up useful Epic links as they find them 8-) .

Cheers,
Steve.

I've been getting a few questions about Epic recently so I thought I'd bump this thread up again as i believe it will be very helpful to new/potential players.

Let me know if I can help out further or you can post up other useful Epic links that you find.

Cheers,
Steve.

Please excuse another bump.
I was asked to point a new player to some useful links and this thread does just that.

Don't forget, anyone that finds other useful Epic links can post them here and I'll add them to the list.

Cheers,
Steve.

LINK to the Raiders 2.0 supplement (its a 49mb download including complete rules/background for the Minervan Tank Legion, Necrons and Dark Eldar with plenty of pictures).

Here is a LINK to the Siege supplement which includes Mossinian Rebel Guard, Krieg and White Scars Marines (25mb download). Again has rules/background and pictures.

Both supplements are fan made but of very high quality and have well playtested rules/armylists.

Cheers,
Steve.

Bumping this thread in response to a request I received from someone by PM for rules and suggestions where to get models.

I think this is up to date, although there have been some more suitable proxy manufacturers who have released some really nice models recent.
