Is this for B&C?

I think you're going to struggle with effectively three units. I would suggest dropping the Shas'O for a Shas'El (an extra point of BS can be bought with a Targetting Array and is still cheaper) and drop one Fish for a Kroot Squad or another unit of Crisis Suits. I'd go with the Kroot personally but that's just me. I prefer bodies over vehicles.

In a Tau army this size, you need a key devestating unit.
Drop the sweet stuff (upgrades) and keep the suits cheap.
Keep you Troops effective, but not expensive (8-10 Fire Warriors are great, Shas'ui and 'Fish are scary)

In games this size (and smaller) Ive had huge success with Stealth Teams.
A team of 4 is cheap, hard to chase and pack a huge amount of shots.
As for other effective bodies, cheap kroot (any size -no shaper required) and Sniper Teams (3 AP3/ Pinning weapons) work well. Vespid are also great, AP3 weapons, fast and relatively cheap.

Obviously, Im not sure what models you have available, but target saturation works very well for a list this size.
With Tau, they need to focus on a unit and remove it from the board. Do this every turn. Find something you dont like the look of, and kill it. All of it. No survivors.

I would second Kroot in any game. As outflankers they can be awesome with a heap of attacks at a decent strength. Plus if you deploy the unit wide enough you can engage multiple units in the one charge really screwing up gunlines, etc.

Although keep in mind they really don't like flamers of any kind.

Drop down to a Shas'el with targeting array and lose the TL and make the body guard standard suits with twin link missile pods and targeting arrays. Dorp one fire warriors unit for Kroot and a Piranha with Targeting array and Fusion blaster.

Before we share any more advice - what is this for?

Ball & Chain?
New Army core?
Just for Fun?

These will impact the responses...
